Democracy Forward is a national legal organization that advances democracy and social progress through litigation, policy and public education, and regulatory engagement.
Civil Service Strong, a project of Democracy Forward, leads a broad, inclusive coalition of organizations committed to defending, supporting, and rebuilding a nonpartisan, professional civil service.

glifaa: LGBTQIA+ Pride in Foreign Affairs
Glifaa was established in 1992 as a community of LGBTQIA+ personnel, retirees and former employees, family members, and supportive colleagues at the U.S. Department of State, USAID, and other foreign affairs agencies. It is registered as an independent 501(c)(3) and has consistently participated in Pride Parades in our nation’s capital for over 30 years.

Out in National Security
Out in National Security (ONS) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to empowering queer national security professionals. We build community, secure equality of opportunity, and promote allyship by taking a broad view of the national security enterprise and bridging organizations of excellence to other like-minded groups.
Out in National Security advances our community’s interests by seeking outcomes and goals that positively impact the lives of today’s and tomorrow’s LGBTQIA+ national security practitioners.

Pride in Exile
Pride in Exile (PIE) is a membership organization of LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies committed to ensuring equal employment opportunity for LGBTQ+ individuals. PIE supports current and former LGBTQ+ federal employees, as well as non-federal LGBTQ+ individuals facing employment discrimination.

Smithsonian Pride Alliance
Smithsonian Pride Alliance (originally GLOBE) is an employee resource group with the goal of serving, enabling, and providing a source of community for all LGBTQ+ Smithsonian employees, and their allies, while ensuring impactful and appropriate representation of LGBTQ+ individuals, their history, rights, and concerns in Smithsonian policies and programs.
