GET is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all event participants. We expect all attendees, speakers, volunteers, and organizers to adhere to the following code of conduct:

1. Respect and Inclusion: Treat all individuals with respect, kindness, and consideration. Embrace and celebrate the diversity of identities within the LGBTQIA+ community. You do not need to disclose your identity status to attend, and allies are welcome.
   
2. Non-Discrimination: Discrimination, harassment, or bullying based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, political affiliation, body size, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.
   
3. Consent: Respect personal boundaries and always obtain explicit consent before engaging in physical contact or conversations of a personal nature. Consent is an ongoing process, not a one-time agreement.
   
4. Safety: Report any concerns about safety, inappropriate behavior, or violations of this code of conduct to event organizers immediately. If you or someone else is in danger, please immediately dial 911.
   
5. Inclusivity: Strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. Use people’s correct names, pronouns, and terms. If you are unsure of someone’s name, pronouns or terms, just ask them.
   
6. Alcohol Use: If allowed at an event, consume alcohol responsibly. The use of illegal substances, including but not limited to marijuana and other drugs, is strictly prohibited. 
   
7. Privacy and Social Media Use: To protect the safety and security of our attendees, do not share the identity of attendees without their explicit consent. Do not share photos, videos, or information on social media platforms without the express consent of the event organizers and any individuals depicted.
   
8. Feedback: If desired, please provide constructive feedback to event organizers to help improve future events and ensure a positive experience for all participants.

By participating in our events, you agree to abide by this code of conduct and uphold the values of our organization. We reserve the right to take appropriate action, including removal from the event and potential prohibition from future events in response to violations of this code.
